Oasis fans have faced concert chaos this morning after websites’ selling tickets crashed when tens of thousands of people tried to nab tickets from the general sale.
Tickets went on sale at 9am after the legendary Britpop group announced their long-awaited reunion on Tuesday.
Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher appear to have put aside their differences as they look set to appear onstage for the first time since the band’s split in 2009.
Tickets went on sale in the UK at 9am on Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours and See Tickets.
Tickets to concerts held at Dublin’s Croke Park went on sale on Ticketmaster at 8am.
Fans reported the websites had crashed due to demand for tickets, with Oasis earlier this week confirming additional dates in Manchester, London and Edinburgh.
An Oasis fan told GB News: “My Ticketmaster page wasn’t updating at all.
“It wouldn’t let me even sign it at first. I was in the waiting room. Just after 9am I joined the queue.

“On Gigs and Tours, it just says ‘bear with us’. It then constantly refreshes every 20 second.”
Another said: “It’s been chaos. I’ve been on the website since 5am.
“Ticketmaster suspended my session and Gigs and Tours has been no better.
“It didn’t tell me where I was in the queue for hours but then it refreshed to put me 87,627. F**k knows if I’ll get tickets.”
The fan updated GB News about the situation just an hour later.
Having barely moved in the queue, a message popped up saying: “The queue for Oasis is moving along as fans checkout.
“Tickets are still available for all dates so please hold your place in line.”
A third fan was bumped from 48,419 in the queue to 98,107.
They were trying to attend Oasis’ concert at Cardiff’s 74,500-capacity Principality Stadium.
The fan told GB News: “I got a message saying my session had been suspended multiple times. I tried to get tickets to Taylor Swift and this has been much worse.
“It restarted the process and within 10 minutes I went from being pushed back in the queue by 50,000. I’m going to need a cigarette after this.”
Some fans who only joined the queue at 9.45am received a message suggesting they could not access the main websites due to high demand.
