Jeremy Clarkson has marked Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper’s 27th birthday in typically playful fashion after the Diddly Squat farm manager posted a social media clip yesterday.
Cooper took to Instagram and shared a video of himself on a tyre swing with his lookalike brother Kieron.
The Chipping Norton farmer posted the clip on Instagram with the caption: “Here’s to 27 year old! Thank you all for the birthday messages!”
Before long, fans and Clarkson flocked to the comments section to share their birthday messages, although several comments centred on Cooper’s rarely seen younger brother.
Fans were left utterly bewildered by the striking resemblance between the siblings. Many viewers initially thought they were witnessing some sort of visual trick, with the uncanny similarity between Kaleb and his younger brother causing widespread confusion amongst the show’s devoted following.
The reaction from fans was immediate and bewildering. One viewer commented: “How are you pushing yourself on the swing?” whilst another wrote: “My first time noticing it. Are you a twin, haha?”
A third fan added: “This is like a glitch in the Matrix. Why is the person pushing you also you?!” Another replied: “How is Caleb pushing Caleb !! My brain is in glitch mode.”
One follower penned: “Genuinely thought you were pushing yourself on the swing”, as another echoed: “Jeremy needed two of ya so they did a copy and paste.” Another said they thought they were “drunk” after seeing the footage. (sic)
Ignoring the comparisons, Clarkson himself weighed in on the birthday post but delivered a characteristically blunt observation.
The television presenter brutally wrote: “I’d worry about that rope.”

The comment was typical of Clarkson and Cooper’s playful relationship, with plenty of the 27-year-old’s followers seeing the funny side of his 65-year-old boss’s teasing.
Kieron Cooper himself stepped in to clarify the confusion, confirming his relationship to the birthday boy. He replied to the post: “Happy birthday to my big brother there’s only one Kaleb have a good day mate.” (sic)
Clarkson wasn’t the only Clarkson’s Farm star to reach out to Cooper as he marked his 27th birthday either.
Season four newcomer Harriet Cowan proved again that there was no bad blood with Cooper – despite their frosty introduction – by sharing a birthday message to her co-star.
Cowan posted a photo of the two farmers taken during filming for season four and tagged the Diddly Squat farm manager alongside a gif of the phrase: “Happy birthday.”
Speculation about the pair’s relationship had been rife following Cowan’s Clarkson’s Farm exit, particularly because of Cooper’s objection to her filling in for him while he was on tour.
However, despite getting off on the wrong foot, Cowan confirmed they now “get on really well” after the cameras stopped rolling.
“Kaleb’s amazing – me and him are so close now,” Cowan said to BBC Derby. “He’s such a good farmer and we got on really well.”
Continuing her tribute, she went on: “He’s another farmer to add to my phone list to ring. Everyone checks in to make sure everyone’s fine.
“The farm is two and a bit hours away, so it’s crazy to be talking to Kaleb, Jeremy, Gerald and Charlie and asking what the weather is like.”
