Alex Beresford announced he is expecting his second child with a sweet social media post on Sunday evening.
The Good Morning Britain star, 43, married Imogen McKay in 2022, and the couple are now set to become parents together for the first time.
Beresford took to Instagram to share a photo, with the meteorologist placing a hand over his wife’s baby bump.
He captioned the picture: “The greatest gift. In awe of my beautiful wife growing Baby B. We can’t wait to meet you. x”
The ITV star’s second child will be is first with McKay, as he shares 14-year-old son Cruz with his first wife Natalia Natkaniec.
Many of Beresford’s TV colleagues quickly took to the comments section to congratulate him on the news, with Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid sharing: “The best news – huge congratulations to you all.”
Ben Shephard, who left the news programme for This Morning earlier this year, also commented, writing: “Ahhh what wonderful news.”
Loose Women star Charlene White remarked: “So excited for you both!!!” while presenter Charlotte Hawkins penned: “Ahh massive congratulations!!!”
ITV doctor Amir Khan added: “The most wonderful news!” with Judi Love posting: “Congratulations.”
Journalist and Countryfile star Sean Fletcher commented: “Congrats Alex!! Wonderful news.”

Beresford split from his first wife Natkaniec in 2019, with the two separating in 2020 just before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
The Celebrity Race Across the World winner met McKay in the same year, and the two tied the knot in September 2022 in Son Marroig, Majorca.

Sharing his romantic proposal with HELLO! magazine, Beresford recalled: “I took Imogen for a walk along the beach.
“The weather was sunny and warm, and the sea was crystal clear. ‘This is it,’ I thought.
“Imogen’s not one for taking photos, but as I persuaded her to pose for a picture overlooking the sea, I kneeled down to take the engagement ring I’d hidden inside my rucksack.
“When she turned around, I was on one knee, and asked her the biggest question of my life – and she said yes. It was an amazing moment.”
