Dick and Angel Strawbridge have delighted fans by sharing a heartwarming Escape to the Chateau throwback on Instagram.
In celebration of World Bee Day, the couple posted a clip from the show featuring a memorable family moment, as Dick introduced his children to the new beehives he installed at the chateau.
The video captures the Strawbridges all dressed in beekeeping suits as they follow Dick to the hives.
With gentle excitement, he demonstrates how to extract honey, calming the bees with smoke before carefully lifting the frames, revealing them bursting with beeswax and golden honey.
The family laughs along, particularly at Angel’s less-than-enthusiastic reaction to the task.
In the clip, she can be heard admitting: “I’m not really enjoying this, I’m not a beekeeper!”
Alongside the video, a caption read: “Hello to you on this Fabulous Friday! In honour of World Bee Day this week, we thought we’d share this Escape throwback of our first ever honey harvest.”
“Our hearts are melting over Arthur and Dorothy in their cute beekeeping suits. Such lovely memories!”
They also shared with fans that they’ve created a “special page dedicated to our pollinators”, which is available via the link in their bio.
