Jeremy Clarkson, 65, has shared nothing but kind words about Clarkson’s Farm newcomer Harriet Cowan following her introduction in the newly released fourth season.
Cowan, 24, was first introduced to fans in the season four trailer earlier this month as the temporary replacement for farm manager Kaleb Cooper while he embarked on a nationwide stage tour.
And in the first few episodes of the new series of Clarkson’s Farm, fans got to witness firsthand just how well Cowan adapted to life at Diddly Squat.
Drafted in for just a few weeks, Cowan quickly struck up a bond with Clarkson as she filled in the void left by Cooper, not afraid to get her hands dirty.
Clarkson branded Cowan “brilliant” in the new season for her farming skills, but the two also shared many a poignant moment.
From plucking Clarkson’s eyebrows to highlighting the subject of loneliness among farmers, Cowan brought a fresh perspective to Diddly Squat that has been absent through its first three runs.

However, unfortunately, to fans endeared by Cowan’s presence at the Chipping Norton farm, she made her exit once Cooper arrived back in town.
With a fifth season already in the pipeline, fans will undoubtedly be wondering if they’ll get a chance to see the 24-year-old back in action.
And speaking ahead of the fourth season’s release, Clarkson refused to rule it out as he spoke highly about Cowan.
Praising Cowan’s insight, particularly with shining a light on the loneliness problem among farmers and how social media can help, Clarkson conceded: “It was a surprise to me.
“I think a lot of people, certainly of my generation, look at kids on TikTok and think, ‘What is the point of this meaningless existence they’re all having?’
“But then she explained that it was a way she can connect with other people when she’s doing something, because it is lonely. It suddenly made sense.
“Even though she’s only a kid, she knows people who have killed themselves. I thought it was a poignant moment. The problem with these young farmers is they have no money.
“Their friends go to the pub at night and they can’t afford to go, and their friends go on holiday, but they can’t afford to go.”
Turning his attention to a possible return to the farm for Cowan, Clarkson continued to The Sun: “It’s a reality show. We don’t just bring characters in because the TV show needs it. You bring them in because you really need them.”
Concluding with a sweet tribute to the farmhand, he added: “I loved Harriet to bits and I wish her all the very best. She was fantastic to have around.
“But the truth is, we’ve got Kaleb, and he might go off and do Celebrity Love Island or something, and if I can’t manage, I’ll call Harriet in a heartbeat.”
In the coming days, Cowan will inevitably garner an all-new fanbase to boost her already impressive social media following.
However, a few people who will unlikely be tuning in and adding to the fanfare are her own step-sisters.
Speaking once the Clarkson’s Farm season four trailer arrived, Cowan’s estranged stepfamily spoke out to brand the young farmhand as “fake”, “self-absorbed”, and “horrible“.
Step-sisters Elina and Maddie Clifford, whose mother is married to Cowan’s father, told the Daily Mail: “She is obsessed with herself. She’ll soak all (the attention) up like a sponge.”
They added: “She is only doing a farming show to boost her social media profile. It is really sad and desperate.”
