Trisha Goddard has shared a heartfelt health update with fans as she continues to navigate life with her stage four breast cancer diagnosis.
The 67-year-old former chat show host, who recently opened up about her condition during her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, took to Instagram to reveal she’s also battling Raynaud’s syndrome.
According to the NHS, Raynaud’s phenomenon occurs when blood flow to the fingers and toes is reduced, often triggered by cold temperatures or stress.
Goddard believes her symptoms may be a side effect of ongoing cancer treatments, including chemotherapy.
In a candid post, she shared a photo of her bright white fingers, explaining that her condition has worsened since starting chemo.
“Anybody else dealing with pesky Raynaud’s?” she asked her followers.
“If you do, here’s what happens when you forget to wear gloves when buying frozen food, and then go about putting it in your freezer, duh!”
Goddard revealed she has lived with the condition “mildly for years” but that over a year of infusions and chemotherapy every three weeks has intensified the symptoms.
“Compared to other, um… tings dat be going down it vex me small time, still… Ouch!!” she wrote, describing how her fingers change from bright red to blue, then grey-white before eventually returning to normal.

Despite the discomfort, Goddard has found small ways to manage the condition, like wearing gloves while driving to protect her hands from air conditioning or using a napkin to hold cold drinks.
“BUT every so often I forget; the burning sensation starts and my fingers go painfully numb while they turn the colours of the Union Jack!” she joked.
She also took the opportunity to educate her followers about how chemotherapy can aggravate Raynaud’s and stressed the importance of being aware of this painful side effect.
Among the supportive comments was Good Morning Britain’s Dr. Amir Khan, who wrote: “Sorry babes, hope you feel better, it’s such a painful condition.”
Goddard responded warmly with a kiss-blowing emoji.
Following her exit from the CBB house, Goddard revealed she had undergone a round of chemotherapy just 24 hours before entering the show, flying in from her home in Connecticut to take part.
“I went to the infusion centre on April 1. I call it my spa room,” she told the Daily Mail. “I had a soupçon of chemo and targeted hormone therapy, one little bag after the other. I have a port catheter and I get plugged in.”
Despite the intense treatment schedule, Trisha credited her oncologist for encouraging her participation: “He said, ‘I’m going to help you do this because your message [of hope] is so great’.”
ITV bosses reportedly ensured her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house was as comfortable as possible, even providing her with a private suite.
