Peter Andre has faced criticism from fans after sharing photos of a family trip to SeaWorld during his holiday in Abu Dhabi.
The 52-year-old singer posted images on Instagram of his children entering the marine theme park while on holiday with his wife Emily, 35, and their five children.
“We had the best time at @yasisland exploring all the parks,” Andre wrote in his post.
“So special to have the whole family together, there truly is something for everyone. We’ll definitely be back!”
The post was met with disapproval from animal lovers, with critics commenting: “SeaWorld, definitely NOT a place for animal lovers.”
Another wrote: “Great photos until you showed SeaWorld, how sad.”
“Promoting cruel, unethical hell holes for animals, such as SeaWorld. Vile,” added another disappointed follower.
One critic commented: “I’m so sad to see you visiting SeaWorld, the cruelty around these ‘entertainment’ parks are obvious.”
However, some fans defended Andre, with one writing: “Beautiful family; We were here in Feb… it was the best holiday.”

The Abu Dhabi SeaWorld is notable for being the first in the chain’s history to be free of orcas, after the park stopped breeding the whales in 2016.
The facility primarily houses dolphins and seals instead.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi states it is “committed to providing the highest standard of animal welfare based on best practices and standards set by internationally recognised animal welfare organisations.”
The company faced significant backlash following the release of the 2013 documentary Blackfish, which portrayed the captivity of killer whales as inherently cruel.
The film explored circumstances leading to the 2010 death of SeaWorld trainer Dawn Brancheau, who was drowned by an orca in Florida.
SeaWorld has described the documentary as “inaccurate and misleading.”
Peter shares Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and Arabella, 13 months, with his wife Emily. He is also father to Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, from his previous relationship with Katie Price.
The family holiday brought all five children together for the trip to the UAE.
Andre’s SeaWorld controversy comes shortly after he received backlash for his upcoming film, “Jafaican”.
In the crime-comedy, Andre plays Gary Buckle, a con artist who pretends to be a Jamaican gangster.
The character must master Jamaican culture in 21 days to execute a fraud and earn £35,000 needed for his grandmother’s care.
The trailer shows Andre wearing dreadlocks and adopting a Jamaican accent, which many have criticised as inappropriate.
One social media user questioned: “Did I wake up in 1998?!”
Another wrote: “Peter Andre starring as the lead character of a film called JAFAICAN where he’s pretending to be a Jamaican and wearing a dreadlock wig is not something I was expecting to see in the year of our Lord 2025.”
Despite the criticism, some fans expressed excitement about the film. Andre announced on Instagram: “The OFFICIAL trailer for JAFAICAN has just dropped! Coming to cinemas soon.”
The world premiere took place at the Gold Coast Film Festival on May 9, with a UK premiere to be announced soon.
Supportive fans commented: “Peter that looks amazing can’t wait to see this brilliant” and “Oh yes!!!! looking forward to this.”
