BBC Sort Your Life Out viewers have been left scratching their heads and losing their patience with tonight’s episodes as Stacey Solomon added “pointless” additions to the house they had cleared.
Solomon and her team banded together to help the Jamiesons from East Sussex transform the home that’s been in their family for 40 years.
They strip every item from the converted bungalow and display them all in a warehouse where they discover 106 animal ornaments, 87 board games and over 1,000 pieces of china.
As they sort through the decades of keepsakes, mum Nadine reflects on her childhood and the challenges of raising her daughters
Welcoming her team to the house, Solomon explained: “We’re here to help a family banish their clutter once and for all.
“This is the Jamieson’s house, and Nadine moved into this house as a teenager with her mum, and then raised her four daughters here subsequently.

“Two of them still live here, but they are on the cusp of moving out, so Nadine is facing living here alone for the very first time.
“But also, there have been three generations of people in this house, so there are three generations of clutter. Why do you think now is the time to ask for help?”
When meeting Nadine, she expressed: “Because I’ve got the time. Because I just spent my whole life bringing up my children and then working, and I just had no idea this had all encroached upon… I just didn’t see it. I am… ready.”
After rifling through the house and sorting through their belongings in the iconic warehouse, it was day six and time for the house to be put back into order.
Solomon noted: “It’s 9am, and the Jamieson’s belongings made it back from the warehouse. With so much to rework back in the house, I’ve called on my online pal and social media star, Zoe (Sugg). Zoe and I are bringing some character back into the living room.”
The girls got started on making a picture wall, with Sugg then being tasked to make the existing candles prettier by using floral napkins which were lying around.
She explained: “I have been tasked, which involves candles and napkins. Cut the napkin in half, then you want to wrap the napkin around the candle. A little bit of baking paper, and then heat!
“Slowly push this over the candle… moment of truth… Look at that! The paper won’t catch alight because the wax has melted into it.”
Viewers were not best pleased with the “pointless” task, as one penned on X: “I thought they were supposed to be getting rid of crap not repurposing it.”
“In a house full of clutter, why would you need some flowery candles?” a second added before a third slammed: “Get rid off stuff at the warehouse then Zoe and Stacey add more tat.”
“They normally do a fantastic job on here but that house looks so dated and messy,” someone else stated before another noted: “Oh f**k me we’re ironing candles now, so utterly pointless my patience is gone.”
A sixth annoyed viewer wrote: “Let’s declutter years of stuff while the tiktokker sticks bits of crap through chicken wire in the kitchen.” (sic)
When the team finished, Nadine was left in tears and said: “Honestly, we never envisaged what it would look like, but it is way beyond what we could have dreamt. It is dreams come true.”
One month later, the house was still thriving, leaving Nadine to express: “It has been amazing. I still can’t get over just how beautiful it all is. We’re so close, and now we’re even closer.
“It’s just really brought clarity back into my life, and I can start a whole new chapter now and start living again.”
