Escape to the Chateau stars Dick Strawbridge, 65, and Angel Adoree, 46, have left their fans delighted after announcing their podcast – Dick & Angel’s Chat…eau – will be returning this week.
The podcast series sees the couple sit down weekly to discuss what has been going on in their lives, their children’s lives and the ongoing renovations of their French home.
In July, the couple announced on their Instagram page that they were taking a break from the podcast to spend time with their children – Arthur, 11, and Dorothy, 10 – throughout the summer.
Fans have been desperate for the couple’s return as they have been left with a Strawbridge-shaped hole in their life, but they won’t have to wait long as their beloved podcast will be returning this week.
Taking to their Instagram account where they often update their fans, they penned alongside an edited image of their original poster: “A very good morning to you all! We’re excited to announce that season 2 of our Dick & Angel’s CHAT…EAU podcast is back this Wednesday.
“Listen at in our bio. To celebrate the launch… you may see us on billboards or buses, or just about anywhere!! If you see us… snap a pic and tag us on Facebook or Instagram… sending us an email is fine too!
“And every day this week, we will be giving away tickets to our Forever Home UK Tour to the lucky snappers!!! It’s like a game of Where’s Wally. Have a Marvellous Monday! Xxx.”
Their loyal followers were quick to flock to the comment section to reveal their excitement, as one commented: “Wonderful! I love listening to you both. I’m not a keen flyer & listening to your banter helped keep me calm on the long-haul flight.”
“I’m so happy about this! I checked my podcasts last week and was so sad… Roll on Wednesday, happy ears again,” another penned before a third added: “Very excited for season 2!! I’ve been re-listening to all of season 1, even more, enjoyable the second time around.”
Someone else added: “Very exciting news. I was just thinking about your podcast the other day and wondering when new episodes were coming out. I’m definitely looking forward to listening again.” (sic)
Alongside the return of their podcast, the couple recently announced their “biggest and most interactive tour yet”, although 65-year-old Strawbridge admitted to having some concerns about his son.
Arthur and Dorothy will be joining their parents on the tour, with Adoree explaining to Devon Live: “If you’re going to do a tour, you have to do it properly. The best bit is it’s just like a family outing.”
Strawbridge continued: “Arthur starts senior school and his headmaster said, ‘Yep, great, Arthur can come with us for the whole tour’. The primary schools have always been very supportive, and the headmistress there.”
Adoree responded: “Yeah, they love it. They encourage it to a degree because there’s so much knowledge that the children pick up – history, geography, just socially.
