Oti Mabuse has returned to social media for the first time since reports of her I’m A Celebrity stint emerged.
On Tuesday evening, the former Strictly Come Dancing star became the first big name who’d reportedly agreed to head Down Under for the the ITV series.
Mabuse is no stranger to starring in some of the nation’s best-loved reality shows, shooting to stardom as a pro dancer on Strictly.
She won the series twice with Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey before quitting the BBC staple in 2022 and taking up a position as a judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
I’m A Celeb is reportedly the next popular reality show on the horizon for Mabuse with bosses said to be “over the moon” with the signing.
An ITV insider allegedly told The Sun: “Oti is a brilliant name for I’m A Celebrity, she’s hugely popular and well-liked by the ITV audience so bosses are over the moon she could be a campmate this year.
“She’s very much seen as being part of the ITV family of stars and is always guaranteed to be great fun.”
An ITV spokesperson responded to the reports in a statement to GB News in which they said: “Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Here are just speculation.”
Hours after the source’s claims hit headlines, Mabuse made a return to Instagram – but decided to steer clear of confirming or denying the rumours.
The former Strictly Come Dancing stalwart instead shared a clip of her in the gym walking on a treadmill.
She captioned the video: “Right getting back into it!!! Got lazy and had to snap out of it… Even if it’s 10pm!”
On Wednesday morning, the dancer shared another cryptic video teasing an exciting work project in the pipeline – but avoided mentioning what it is.
She said: “Good morning. Guys, today has been a day. I was supposed to have a meeting at like 10 but I couldn’t make it because I got two deliveries to the house and they’re being built now.
“And I’m so excited for them! It’s something that I’m really passionate about. I think if you know me personally, this is a long-term goal.
“This is like plan number two to the goal. Step one was coming out of myself and not being so self-conscious and taking off that artistic head and putting on the business head.
“Step two is talking to people and getting things to the house and I cannot wait to show you what it is,” the rumoured I’m A Celeb star teased.
