Escape to the Chateau star Angel Adoree recently penned a sweet tribute to her husband Dick Strawbridge as they celebrated his birthday together – sharing the early celebrations they enjoyed.
Whilst many fans have been eager for the couple to return to their chateau and continue their podcast – Dick & Angel… Chat-eu – the couples still have some events to get through before going back to work.
Today marked Strawbridge’s 65th birthday, which Adoree shared on their joined Instagram account, alongside a montage of images sharing how they decided to celebrate the day.
She captioned the post: “Happy Birthday Mr Strawbridge! Homemade gifts from the children… adventures at the seaside and a sneaky ‘no children’ date whilst Arthur and Dorothy hung out with Grandma and Papi.
“We got the celebrations in early so this week we could focus on school but today will always be the day this wonderful, caring, clever man joined the world! Thank you, Jenny!
“Have a lovely day!”
Fans of the couple were quick to flock to the comment section to also send their birthday wishes to Strawbridge, with one noting: “Happy Birthday. Enjoy your special day. Have a wonderful year.
“Happy Birthday Mr. Strawbridge, love seeing you on @the_chateau_tv I look from start to the end, and then I see it again,” someone else said before a third simply penned: “All the best big fella.”
Another fan added: “Happy Birthday Dick have the best time celebrating your special day.” (sic)
The birthday post and celebrations come just one day after the couple waved their children off back to school for a new term, with Arthur Strawbridge, 11, going to his first day of secondary school.
Wanting to keep their fans updated on every milestone within the family, the couple penned a sweet post for their children, with a couple of images of Arthur and Dorothy Strawbridge, 10, before they headed off.
The caption read: “Hello to you on this Marvellous Monday! It’s arrived! The first day of school and for Arthur this means lots of newness at his new grown-up college!
“Dorothy did our toast last night at dinner ‘To a new chapter’… It certainly is… but as we walked into their schools…both ‘babies’ held our hands!
“Good luck to everyone starting school!”

Fans were once again keen to send their well wishes to the children, with many sending their luck and others noting how alike Arthur and his father were, and how much Dorothy looked like her mother.
The couple have taken time off over the summer holidays to spend time with the children, which meant there haven’t been any new podcasts, but the couple recently revealed there was an exciting update on the way.
