Other confirmed returnees include Alison Steadman as Pam Shipman and Larry Lamb as Mick Shipman.
Whilst some cast members’ involvement remains unconfirmed, there’s speculation about potential appearances from Julia Davis (Dawn), Adrian Scarborough (Pete), and Robert Wilfort (Jason).
Sheridan Smith’s return as Rudi has been the subject of informal discussions, according to reports.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, fans are eagerly anticipating the resolution of the 2019 cliffhanger.
The burning question on everyone’s mind is whether Smithy will accept Nessa’s surprise proposal.
Brydon has hinted at closure for the main storylines and told Heart Breakfast: “I believe it does wrap it all up.”
Corden also expressed an emotional sentiment about the finale, telling Chris Evans on Virgin Radio: “We will never write anything that Pam says again… We will never come up with an interesting thing that Bryn has done.”
