Escape to the Chateau stars Angel Adoree and Dick Strawbridge penned a sweet tribute to their children – Arthur Strawbridge, 11, and Dorothy Strawbridge, 10 – as they returned to school for a new year.
The couple said during their previous podcast episode – Dick and Angel… Chat-eu – that they were taking a break from recording to spend the summer holidays with their children.
Although no longer recording or being on TV screens, the couple still update their fans with all their latest adventures and news across their social media.
Today, they shared the exciting news that both their children had returned to school and penned a sweet tribute to them both, admitting it was a “new chapter” for them both.
Sharing a couple of images of the two of them, the caption read: “Hello to you on this Marvellous Monday! It’s arrived! The first day of school and for Arthur this means lots of newness at his new grown-up college!
“Dorothy did our toast last night at dinner ‘To a new chapter’… It certainly is… but as we walked into their schools… both ‘babies’ held our hands!
“Good luck to everyone starting school!”
Fans of the family were quick to send their good luck messages to children, as one fan commented: “They have got so grown up they are just beautiful good luck for the new year in school.”
“They will always be your babies,” another added before a third said: “Wishing you both a good year ahead! An exciting new chapter! Bring it on!.”
A fourth penned: “It’s actually incredible how much they both look like their respective parents. Genetics never fail to amaze me. Very much a case of ‘Mini Me’.”
“Watching them grow up fast. Good luck to you both,” someone else noted before another expressed: “Lovely of you to share this new chapter with us.” (sic)
Dorothy is entering her last year of primary school, while Arthur is beginning his first year in secondary, something that Adoree penned as the “end of an era”.
In another sweet Instagram post, they penned: “It’s been beautiful and emotional! Our sweet little boy, who was known to the teachers as the ‘friendly giant’, finished primary school forever…the class of CM2 and all the teachers celebrated with a ‘Boum’ at the Chateau on Friday night.
“The sun was golden…there was plenty of laughter, tears and photos…the perfect end to what’s been an incredible part of our journey. Here’s to the end of an era and a new beginning! Have a lovely Sunday.”

The couple recently shared an exciting update that they would soon be returning after having a couple of weeks off and added there was an update “coming soon”.
“A big sunny hello to you! We’re having a fabulous time at the seaside making the most of the end of the summer holidays before school starts again… we hope you are doing the same!
“It’s been a jam-packed August with some huge events at the Chateau, the 40th birthday celebrations of our dear Chateau Helper Sacha, and a trip to Disney for me and Arthur, while Dick and Dorothy had the time of their lives seeing Taylor Swift at Wembley!
