Watch the moment GB News Breakfast host Stephen Dixon reflects on meeting a fellow People’s Channel star for the first time.
Speaking to Ellie Costello, he says the “sweet” moment was a long time coming, as the pair have been working together on the channel for a long time.
But often it is Stephen throwing to her as she reports on issues affecting Britons hundreds of miles away from GB News’s London studio.
The star in question is GB News’s Yorkshire and Humber Reporter Anna Riley.
“We’ve just had a really lovely treat here in the studio”, said Stephen.
“She looks fantastic. It’s the first time I’ve actually met her in the flesh, it doesn’t feel like it because I talk to her all the time!”
Ellie told Stephen that she noticed him “going northern” as he spoke to his fellow northerner, to which he said: “That’s my real voice!”
