22 Kids and Counting star Millie Radford shared how she was in tears after being told her beloved family member, puppy Bella, required urgent surgery.
The mother-of-three explained she was in an “absolutely state” over the sad news.
Ms Radford, 23, revealed the news alongside husband Harley Passmore via social media.
Taking to TikTok, the pair shared how their puppy Bella required emergency surgery in order to prevent her bladder from exploding.
Mr Passmore commented “very sad news,” as they detailed how they’d found a lump on their beloved pooch, instantly taking her to the vets.
“She has an outside hernia, so basically, it’s now affecting her bowel, and she’s got a split muscle as well,” Ms Radford continued.
The Channel 5 star went on: “She needs to have an emergency operation tomorrow. Because if not, her bladder will basically just explode. She will pass away.
“She’s going to stay there for the night, but when I took her yesterday, he said she’s really, really lucky.
“She’s had this since she was born, since she’s been about 10 weeks. She’s going to have surgery tomorrow which is going to last about two and a half hours, and then she has to stay there tomorrow night and collect her on Friday.”
After Mr Passmore explained how the vets would be monitoring their four-legged friend, the seventh Radford child added: “They just said she’s really, really lucky, because she’s such a small puppy, the hernia is actually really, really big, he said she’s very lucky.”
Expressing her emotional response to the shock news, she recalled: “I actually rang my mum whilst I was still in my appointment, I was in absolute disbelief, I was crying my eyes out.”
As she hadn’t expected such bad news, Ms Radford had brought her daughter Ophelia with her, later feeling guilty for breaking down in front of the four-year-old.
“I felt really guilty, I was an absolute state,” she reflected.
Fans soon flooded her TikTok post with sympathetic comments, with users sharing their well-wishes for the pup. The sad update comes just days after the couple faced an emotional time in the latest episode of 22 Kids and Counting.
Sunday night’s episode focused on the newlyweds, who had been arguing as a distance built up between them over a significant disagreement.
While the husband and wife share two children, Chester, three, and Elodie, 22 months, Millie’s oldest daughter, Ophelia, was from a previous relationship.
The two explained during Channel 5’s latest visit to the Radford family that Ophelia’s dad had never been in the picture, and how Mr Passmore had recently asked to adopt her.
However, Ms Radford was reluctant to grant her husband permission, citing concerns over talking to her daughter about her biological father.

At one point during the episode, Mr Passmore stormed away from a family day out with Chester, causing Ms Radford to worry about where her husband and son were.
She later explained to the cameras that she felt the move was Harley’s way of suggesting that if Ophelia is “hers,” Chester is “his”.
As the disagreement continued, the next update came when Ms Radford called her parents to share the news that Mr Passmore had been rushed to hospital with stroke-like symptoms.
He was kept in for the night, but thankfully, it turned out he hadn’t had a stroke. He was later diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a temporary condition causing sudden weakness on one side of the face.
Following the frightening ordeal, Ms Radford changed her mind about allowing Mr Passmore to adopt Ophelia, explaining the incident had been a wake-up call.
