Katie Price has returned to social media for the first time since her daughter hit screens with her very own reality TV series, The Princess Diaries.
Katie revealed last week that she will not view her daughter’s new ITV2 reality series, which premiered on Sunday evening, after claiming that she was prevented from appearing in the programme despite her wishes to participate.
“I won’t be watching the show and I won’t be promoting the show because I don’t need it rubbed in my face of everyone playing happy families and regarding me as the other parent,” she stated on The Katie Price Show earlier this month.
The former glamour model firmly rejected suggestions of conflict with her 18-year-old daughter, insisting they have “never, ever, ever had an argument to this day – or a disagreement.”

As a result, she expressed feeling “very, very upset” about her exclusion from the documentary series.
During Sunday’s premiere episode, Princess opened up about her childhood experiences and revealed she has undergone counselling to process difficult memories.
The teenager disclosed that she continues to see a therapist occasionally and finds writing in her notes helpful when struggling to verbalise her feelings.
“I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age,” Princess explained during the programme.

She spoke candidly about witnessing “adulty things that kids should never see” during her mother’s difficult period following the breakdown of her marriage to Kieran Hayler when Princess was 10 years old.
The 18-year-old acknowledged her mother “went through a very, very dark time” and “wasn’t emotionally able to be there” due to personal struggles.
Despite the candid scenes addressing her upbringing and life with her mother, Katie decided to completely ignore her daughter’s career news on Monday morning.
Instead, Katie took to Instagram to share a post celebrating the countdown to Christmas Day. “Just 19 Days Left Until Christmas,” the post read, which included a picture of actor Will Ferrell from the festive film, Elf.
The decision to opt out of mentioning Princess’s show won’t come as a surprise to many fans after Katie revealed she broke down in tears when she encountered the programme’s producers whilst in Ibiza. Princess was also staying there, but they were forbidden from meeting.
“I burst out crying – and this producer will know it,” she recalled earlier this month, describing how she pleaded to be included in her daughter’s project.
The mother-of-five claimed her podcast team offered three days of complimentary filming featuring her and Princess together, which was allegedly rejected by “powers higher up.” She suggested the decision came from beyond the television producers themselves.
Katie alleged that CAN Group, which represents both Princess and her father, Peter Andre, has systematically excluded her from her daughter’s professional activities since their management relationship ended following her 2009 divorce from Peter.
Princess took to Instagram following the programme’s debut to thank viewers for their support. The teenager shared her astonishment at the show reaching number two on ITVX’s viewing charts.
“Honestly, wow thank you so much for the support from everyone. And to all the people being nice I love you x,” she wrote, adding: “Ps. Can’t believe I’m number 2 on ITVX.” (sic)
Earlier, Princess had appeared on This Morning alongside her brother Junior to discuss the series. She told hosts Joel Dommett and Emma Willis that viewers would witness her growing confidence throughout the episodes.
The 18-year-old emphasised her independence and rejected the nepo-baby label, explaining: “A lot of things I used to do was with my parents and now I’m doing a show that is independent and actually focused on me.”
