Katie Price has spoken out about being excluded from her daughter Princess Andre’s new ITV2 documentary series, addressing speculation about tensions between them.
The 47-year-old former glamour model revealed on her podcast that she was prevented from participating in The Princess Diaries, which debuts this Sunday at 9pm.
Speaking on the podcast The Katie Price Show in an episode episode titled The Truth Behind Princess Diaries, the former model set the record straight following recent reports, firmly denying any conflict with her 18-year-old daughter.
“There is absolutely no rift between me and Princess. Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day – or a disagreement,” she stated.

However, she disclosed feeling “very, very upset” about being excluded from the programme by Princess’s management team, CAN Group, who also represent her ex-husband Peter Andre.
The mother-of-five declared she will not view the programme or participate in its publicity, despite her continued support for Princess’s endeavours.
“I won’t be watching the show and I won’t be promoting the show because I don’t need it rubbed in my face of everyone playing happy families and disregarding me as the other parent,” she explained during the podcast.
She expressed particular distress about missing significant milestones in Princess’s career journey, including photoshoots, public appearances and brand events.

Katie revealed she had been absent from her daughter’s 18th birthday celebrations, choosing to travel to Ibiza rather than face the pain of exclusion from the party.
“The reason is because Pete doesn’t want to be in the same room as me because I’m his ex,” she stated.
During the emotional podcast recording, Katie became tearful whilst recounting an encounter with the show’s producer in Ibiza, where Princess was also present but they were forbidden from meeting.
“I burst out crying – and this producer will know it,” she recalled, explaining how she expressed her desire to be involved in her daughter’s project.
The podcast’s producer, Glenn, claimed that their team had proposed providing three days of filming at no cost, featuring Katie and Princess together.
This offer was allegedly declined by the production company, despite their earlier request to use archival footage from Katie’s YouTube channel showing mother-daughter outings.
Katie claimed the rejection came from “powers higher up”, suggesting the decision originated beyond the television producers themselves.
Katie revealed that CAN Group had managed both her and Peter during their relationship but severed ties with her following their 2009 separation.
“I always said over my dead body would I ever want her to manage my kids because she doesn’t like me, and Pete and I don’t talk,” she disclosed.
She claimed the management team regards her as “trash” and has systematically excluded her from Princess’s professional activities.
The 47-year-old expressed frustration at being prevented from attending any of her daughter’s work commitments, including photoshoots and brand launches.
“I’m not allowed and not welcome,” she stated, adding that she found it insulting given her three decades of industry experience.
Katie emphasised that “everyone knows she’s my daughter” and questioned why her presence would make any difference.
She also directed a pointed message to Princess’s management during the podcast, addressing them directly as she knows they listen to her show.
“Any parent out there, how would you feel as a parent that you’re so close to your child but then you’ve got other people taking them off you, not letting you turn up or support your child?” she asked.
She emphasised the emotional toll of being systematically excluded from her daughter’s life and career.
Despite the situation, Katie maintained that her relationship with Princess remains strong, describing them as “best friends” and confirming Princess still lives with her when not filming.
“Our personal life together is amazing,” she insisted, whilst warning that “tides are changing” and she would no longer remain silent about the treatment she has received.
