Emily Carver left her co-host Tom Harwood visibly flustered during a discussion about the Government’s new cosmetic surgery regulations.
When introducing the topic of the crackdown on unregulated practitioners, Emily posed an unexpected question to Tom.
“The Government has announced plans to crackdown on dodgy cosmetic practitioners. Ever fancied a Brazilian butt lift?” she asked her colleague.

Tom responded awkwardly: “Personally, no. I think I’m fine.”
Not letting the moment pass, Emily pressed further with a playful suggestion: “Not a little hoick?”
The clearly uncomfortable Tom quickly attempted to redirect the conversation, saying: “No. Should we move on?”
The light-hearted exchange occurred before the pair conducted a serious interview about the dangers of unregulated cosmetic procedures.
Ministers have unveiled sweeping reforms targeting unqualified individuals offering dangerous cosmetic treatments in non-clinical environments.
The measures follow multiple incidents where patients suffered severe complications from procedures conducted in hotel rooms and private residences.
Television personality Lizzie Cundy recounted her traumatic experience with a botched cosmetic procedure that threatened her sight.
“It was more than a disaster it nearly blinded me. I stupidly didn’t do my homework,” Cundy revealed.
She explained: “I’d just split from who I thought was the love of my life. I was feeling very low and down, and my friend said, ‘You know what, let’s go get a little pick-me-up, a bit of filler. There’s one just down the High Street.’
“We hadn’t done any research. We didn’t know who he was. I thought, ‘Yeah, why not?’ I looked tired, I hadn’t slept, and I was in a really low place. So I did something I’d said I’d never do. And sadly, it was the worst thing I’ve ever done.
“It nearly blinded me. I wasn’t told that fillers can actually move. My vision was blurred immediately afterwards they’d put the filler in the wrong place, way too close to my eyes. And no one tells you that filler migrates it travels. I’m just thankful I can still see. You can imagine how frightening that was.
“It might be non-surgical, but this is a serious procedure it’s not just a quick injection. This stuff, if injected in the wrong place, can cause severe damage. It’s incredibly dangerous, and no one warns you about that.
“I just wanted to get rid of tired eyes. I wanted to feel better about myself, as many people do when they’re going through something painful. I was distraught. I wanted to look better.
“But I knew instantly something was wrong. My face started swelling. I looked distorted. My eyes were swelling up.
“At first, I thought maybe I was having an allergic reaction. But the real issue was that this man wasn’t a proper surgeon or physician. He was a cowboy.”
