Ozzy Osbourne’s scathing rant about Sarah Ferguson has resurfaced just hours after she shared a touching tribute to the Heavy Metal star, who died on Tuesday morning.
The Duchess of York led tributes from the Royal Family to the Rock legend, sending a heartfelt message to her “dear friend” Sharon Osbourne.
Fergie wrote on social media: “Heartbroken to hear of Ozzy’s passing.
“A true legend, and a gentle soul beneath the wild spirit.
“My love and deepest condolences to my dear friend Sharon and all the family.
“Rest in peace, Ozzy – your music and magic will live on forever.”
A day after the musician’s death, TikTok user Jema’s World posted an old clip from The Osbournes — the reality show following Ozzy, Sharon and their children, Kelly and Jack, which aired from 2002 to 2005.
The clip showed Ozzy tearing into the Duchess of York, who was then a spokesperson for Weight Watchers.
The famously outspoken musician said: “Fergie now is over here doing f***ing weight loss s**t, which is such an embarrassment, when one of our Royal Family are over here f***ing, ‘And yes, I am from the Royal Family, I lost weight by eating this s**t!'”
Ozzy then claimed: “And it doesn’t work! If you want to lose weight, you’ve got to cut down your fat and work out.
“I mean, what they’ve got up to lately makes my antics look like a joke.”
Sarah became a spokesperson for Weight Watchers International in the US in 1997, just one year after her divorce from Prince Andrew.

In 2001, Fergie participated in a campaign with Weight Watchers and the American Health Foundation to encourage healthy habits in children.
Five years later, the Duchess was featured in a 30-day initiative with “Good Morning America” and AOL.com to help people lose weight.
The former working royal later clarified that her deal as a spokeswoman with Weight Watchers was her main “source of income” in the years following her divorce.
Sarah’s eleven-year endorsement with Weight Watchers came to an end in 2008.
