
Sir Tom Jones, 85, has stunned fans after he returned to the stage at an open-air concert in Copenhagen this weekend.
Jones, who has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, took to the open-air stage at Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday as part of his “Defy Explanation” tour.
It was the Welsh singer’s third time performing at the iconic Tivoli Gardens, including hits such as It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat, and Sex Bomb in his set list.
The world-renowned singer joked in his set: “Is my voice still working? Yes? So as long as it’s here, I’m here.”
Fans flocked to social media to share their admiration for the veteran’s ability to continue to perform live, despite his age and previous health scares.
“Oh my goodness Tom how do you do it. You are a Welsh machine!” one user adorned, another added: “You are a legend Sir Tom! Simply the best!”
One fan showered Jones in praise for his performance: “Thanks for an absolutely amazing concert !!!”, before adding they managed to get ahold of his official concert setlist.

The Sex Bomb singer previously sparked concern among fans after announcing the UK and Europe leg of his tour, just days after celebrating his 85th birthday.
Fans were concerned for the singer’s health and the strains and pressure a tour can bring.
One fan wrote: “Please take care, that’s a very long tour.”
Another added: “Again, congratulations on your 85th birthday. I love love you and the boys. Don’t understand why you need to tour so much. (sic)
“It’s so taxing even on your hips, your knees, your feet. Stay home and enjoy life in London. You worked hard enough.”
However, the veteran performer proved people wrong as he wowed crowds and nay-sayers alike with his powerhouse voice and commendable performance.

French radio station, Fréquence 3, said Jones “left his mark” during the set, and is a globally-renowned artist “who has lost none of his splendor.”
Spanning six decades, Jones has a career many aspire to, earning prestigious accolades such as Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, and a knighthood awarded by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006.
Jones is arguably one of the most respected, admired, and loved performers in modern music.
His reputation landed him a spot on The Voice as a celebrity judge, which he has held since the show’s launch in 2012.
His next show is in Bremen, Germany, on July 22.
Jones’s tour runs until August 21, where he concludes the European leg in Cardiff, Wales.
