Katie Radford has shared a warning with her social media following after her baby, Ronnie, started showing worrying symptoms which were dismissed by doctors.
The 22 Kids and Counting star initially shared on her Instagram account on Thursday that her son had broken out in a mysterious rash and was asking if anybody could help her determine what it could be.
She shared concerning pictures of Ronnie, who was born in October last year, with an aggressive rash on different parts of his body and explained she’d taken him to see a doctor twice.
Alongside the first picture, the 22-year-old mother-of-one wrote: “He’s had chicken pox before so it can’t be chicken pox.”
She continued: “And then the one on his front showed up on Tuesday and then this morning. They are both very red and blister looking.
“Can anyone help me I’ve been to see two different doctors the one on his back started on Monday but wasn’t as angry as what it’s looking today they keep saying it’s viral but he hasn’t got any symptoms for it to be viral.” (sic)
A second post on her Story read: “I don’t think it’s HFAM because he doesn’t have it on his hand feet or mouth.”
Another update came later, with a photo of the baby lying in a bed, while Katie had penned next to it: “Thank you everyone for all your messages I rang 111 as he was so unsettled this morning nothing would calm him down other than a bath they have said he’s got shingles.” (sic)
Issuing a warning to fans, she pointed out how she had been told my medics the rash hadn’t been anything series.
“Let this be your reminder to ALWAYS listen to your gut,” she penned.
“I [saw] two doctors and got told it was nothing then after today being sent to the hospital they’ve said it’s shingles!!!!”
Katie is likely going to be appearing in the upcoming series of 22 Kids and Counting, which was confirmed to be hitting screens in a few days only last week by the Radfords.
22 Kids and Counting viewers have been wondering for a while if and when a new series would be on the way, and matriarch Sue, 50, confirmed the date as Sunday, July 20.
Along with husband Noel, 54, and their huge clan, Sue will be back on screens this coming weekend.
Posting on Britain’s biggest family’s official Instagram account, she wrote: ““**EXCITING NEWS ** We are back for a new series of 22 Kids & Counting.
“20th July 8pm Channel 5. We cannot wait to share what we’ve been up to.”
The last series explored Katie’s pregnancy journey as well as Millie’s wedding, while parents Noel and Sue searched for a bigger property.
It seems the upcoming series will have a strong focus on dad Noel, who will be delving into a search for his birth mother following his adoption in 1971 when he was just 10 days old.

Sue, who was also adopted as a baby, has shared she wouldn’t be delving into her own past despite her husband’s search.
