McFly star Danny Jones has shared the first photograph featuring his wife Georgia in months, marking a significant moment as the couple work to rebuild their marriage following his drunken kiss with I’m A Celebrity co-star Maura Higgins.
The 39-year-old musician posted an Instagram story on Sunday showing their seven-year-old son Cooper playing in the garden beside a paddling pool.
Georgia’s arm was visible in the image, confirming her presence during the family moment.
The photograph, originally taken by a friend and captioned “A weekend well spent”, was also shared by Georgia on her own Instagram stories.
This marks the first time the couple have appeared to present a united front on social media since the scandal emerged in February.
The controversy erupted after Jones shared a drunken kiss with 34-year-old Maura Higgins at a Universal Records party following the BRIT Awards in February.
Reports suggested the pair continued their night until 6am, sharing wine at the Nobu Hotel bar.
The incident caused significant strain on Jones’s decade-long relationship with Georgia, 38, a former Miss England and podcaster.
Georgia temporarily moved out of their West London family home in the wake of the revelations.
Sources described the situation as “embarrassing” for Georgia, who married the McFly guitarist in 2014.
The couple subsequently avoided posting photographs of each other on social media for several months as they navigated what insiders called “a very difficult time in their marriage”.
Jones issued a public apology following the scandal, stating: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”
Despite living under the same roof after Georgia’s return, sources revealed the couple were “like passing ships” and barely saw each other.
Two weeks ago, Georgia broke her social media silence by posting a Father’s Day tribute featuring Jones and their son, captioning it: “For the Dads. Happy Father’s Day.”
Georgia has since returned to the family home and resumed hosting her podcast “Mum’s The Word!” alongside Kelsey Parker.
A source told The Mirror in April: “Georgia is returning to face the music after weeks away.
“She took some time for herself after the incident blew up, but now she’s ready to talk.”
Jones has reportedly made it clear he will do whatever it takes to save the marriage.
“He has made it clear he will do anything to make it work. He loves Georgia and wants their marriage to get back on track,” a source told The Sun.
