Miley Cyrus has come under fire for “disrespectful” behaviour towards fans at a signing event in London over the weekend.
The event, held on Saturday, June 21, at Rough Trade, was in celebration of the singer’s new single, “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved”, taken from her latest album “Something Beautiful”.
The track features supermodel Naomi Campbell, who joined Cyrus at the event to sign vinyl copies of the record.
However, following the signing, fans took to social media to voice their frustration, claiming the singer and model were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge the people who came to meet them.

“I love you Miley but what you did today was AWFUL and DISRESPECTFUL towards your fans,” one person commented on Cyrus’ Instagram post.
“I’m truly disappointed, not so excited anymore to see your film this Friday. You could have waited to chat with Naomi and acknowledged the fans that were there to meet you.”
Another added, “Girl be more attentive and nice to your fans,” while a third said, “Sorry to everyone who went and got a photo with them talking to one another.”
Others expressed similar sentiments, with one remarking, “The way you ignored your fans lol,” and another adding, “Girl you were very rude to your fans at this signing.”

A further comment read: “Treat your fans better next time,” and someone else said, “Wow, you look great. Too bad your fans were treated like trash at that meet and greet.”
Another added: “Miley Cyrus signing Vinyls and not acknowledging fans is the biggest all show no soul. It’s so disheartening for those who queued up for hours, got a scribble on a vinyl and to then have a photo where it’s just Naomi and Miley talking to each other. Come on.”
Although some felt disappointed by the interaction, others were quick to defend the stars.
“IT WAS AMAZING, THANK YOU MILEY,” one person wrote on Instagram.
Another fan on X added, “I can’t get over the fact that I met Miley Cyrus! I thought it was one of those things that would never happen. So glad I flew to London from Milan for the craziest 24 hours of my life.”
Several others pointed out that the edited clip, which circulated online, was captured from a livestream by someone who wasn’t at the event and didn’t reflect the full context.
They insisted that the singer is often very kind to her fans.
So far, neither Miley Cyrus nor Naomi Campbell have responded to the claims.
