Kelsey Parker has announced the devastating loss of her third child, a baby boy named Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, who was stillborn.
The 34-year-old podcast host shared the heartbreaking news through an Instagram post on Sunday evening.
Parker, who was expecting her third child with partner Will Lindsay, posted a moving tribute featuring a poem titled “For Phoenix, Born Sleeping, Forever Loved”.
The announcement included a simple caption: “Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will forever be loved”.
The news comes as a tragic blow to Parker, who is the widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, who died from brain cancer in 2022 at the age of 33.
The poem shared by Parker read: “The world grew quiet as you arrived, So loved, so longed for, yet not alive. Our precious boy, our angel light, Born with wings, took silent flight.”
It continued: “We named you Phoenix, brave and bright. A soul of love, of warmth and light Though we never heard you cry, You’ll live in hearts that won’t ask why.
“No breath you drew, no eyes to see, Still, you mean everything to me. You’ll journey with us, softly near, In every sigh, in every tear.”
In a subsequent Instagram story, Parker requested privacy for her family during this difficult time.
She wrote: “Before I receive an influx of lovely messages and heartfelt wishes, I wanted to just say that I truly appreciate everything you are all going to say and share.
“But with the news being so raw, I would really like to ensure that we as a family are given space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.”
Parker had previously expressed excitement about the pregnancy in January, describing the baby as a “happy accident”. She had been preparing her two children, Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, for their new sibling.
Just days ago, Parker had attended the Elio UK Gala screening in Leicester Square, proudly displaying her baby bump.
A number of friends, followers and famous faces flocked to the comments of the post to share their condolences with Parker.
“Sending you so much love,” Strictly’s Amy Dowden penned alongside a series of love heart emojis.
Meanwhile, dating expert Paul C Brunson said: “Kelsey, I’m heartbroken for you. Over the last year, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know your strength, your grace, and the immense love you carry.
