Brooklyn Beckham has appeared to snub his father, David, yet again after the football legend shared a heartfelt Father’s Day message to his children.
The emotional post was met with silence from his eldest son, as tensions within the family continue to simmer, just days after Brooklyn also failed to acknowledge David’s knighthood.
David, 50, has reportedly been locked in a bitter fallout with 26-year-old Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, 30.
The rift became more public when Brooklyn and Nicola failed to attend David’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations.
Since then, Brooklyn has seemingly drawn closer to Nicola, with insiders suggesting he has even stopped responding to messages from his family.
On Friday, Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge David’s long-awaited knighthood – an honour that had been anticipated for years.
And now, he’s remained silent on Father’s Day as well. For a family known for their effusive social media tributes, particularly on special occasions, Brooklyn’s silence has been impossible to ignore.
In contrast, Brooklyn’s younger brothers Romeo and Cruz took to Instagram to honour their dad. Cruz posted a sunny photo of himself relaxing with David, writing: “Happy Father’s Day, I love you x.”

David himself marked the occasion with an emotional message to his children, which many interpreted as a subtle nod to the ongoing family rift.
He wrote: “My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad… I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what…
“Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father, there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad… Happy Father’s Day… I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.” (sic)
Throughout the day, David shared a series of nostalgic throwback photos, tagging all four of his children in the posts – including Brooklyn – yet no response came from his eldest.
Meanwhile, Nicola Peltz took to social media to celebrate her own father, Nelson, with a series of personal photos and a heartfelt caption.
She wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to the greatest dad in the world. I am so lucky to be your daughter. I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for always being my constant support. I love you beyond words. Happy Father’s Day, Dad.”
However, she made no mention of her father-in-law.
Adding to the speculation over where Brooklyn’s loyalties lie, he recently shared an image of a tattoo believed to reflect his unwavering devotion to Nicola.
Inked on his upper back in calligraphy, the design features a love letter written by Nicola just before their wedding in April 2022.
It reads: “My forever boy. Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are. You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and hope I never go a day without your love. I think you are so incredible. Just know we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond. Love always, your future wifey.” (sic)
