Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood faced what must have been an awkward interaction with his ex-wife, Jo, while holidaying with his new wife and their children.
The couple divorced back in 2011 after being married for 26 years, but the 78-year-old found himself face-to-face with Jo, 70, unexpectedly while in the Bahamas.
It turned out model and TV personality Jo was staying in the same hotel as the guitarist.
Reflecting on the surprise reunion, she recalled: “I’d only been there a day and I walked into the hotel restaurant and there was Ronnie with his wife and kids.”
Speaking to the Daily Mail, she joked: “You should have seen his face when he saw me.”
She was quick to add: “I’m no stalker,” as she opened up on the awkward moment.
The rocker is now married to theatre producer Sally, who is 31 years younger than him, and the pair have twin daughters.
Jo was married to Ronnie from 1985 to 2011, with the former couple sharing two children, Leah, 46 and Tyrone, 41.
Jo also became stepmother to Ronnie’s son from his first marriage, Jesse, now 48.
She also has another son, 50-year-old Jamie, from her first marriage to Peter Greene.
Away from the shock interaction, Ronnie also recently sent fans into meltdown with a different reunion, one that had been welcomed by the musician.
Back in January, he shared snaps on social media as he celebrated Sir Rod Stewart’s 80th birthday.
“Really fun night celebrating Rod’s 80th!” Wood wrote in his Instagram post.
Along with the message, the Stones icon shared snaps of the birthday bash, with the pair beaming as they smiled for the camera.
Also included was a video of them humorously Eskimo kissing and embracing. Celebrating with the music legends were their wives Penny Lancaster and Sally.
The joyous post was met with adoration among fans who wished Stewart well in the comments – while others pleaded for a Faces reunion sooner rather than later.
Faces formed in 1971 and took the early years of the decade by storm with their hit first song Stay With Me.
The band was formed by Small Faces alum Ian McLagan, Ronnie Lane, and Kenney Jones but were bolstered with the soloist vocal talents of Stewart and guitar licks of Wood.
