Sir Rod Stewart has shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Penny Lancaster, following the announcement of her exciting new career move.
Lancaster, 54, revealed she is set to publish her autobiography, Someone Like Me, later this year.
The Loose Women panellist unveiled the book’s cover in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, showing her smiling warmly in a soft coffee-coloured cardigan.
The cover also features the tagline: “Lessons in life, love and staying true.”
Reposting the video to his own social media, Stewart proudly wrote: “The light of my life’s new memoir,” in a show of support for his wife.
In her original caption, Lancaster opened up about what the book means to her, writing: “I’m so excited to announce that my new book, Someone Like Me, will be publishing this September!”
“Writing this book has been a challenge, but it’s shown me that we’re all going through something, overcoming difficulties and re-discovering parts of ourselves that we might have lost along the way.
“Life is full of ups and downs – we’re all learning as we go and embracing this process is where growth and healing happens.

The autobiography will explore previously untold aspects of Lancaster’s life, including her childhood experiences and the challenges she faced with undiagnosed dyslexia.
Stewart’s heartfelt message comes amid a period of ill health, which has forced the cancellation of several of his shows.
The music icon recently announced he would be pulling out of six US tour dates in June as he recovers from the flu.
“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” Sir Rod wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
“So sorry my friends.”
“I’m devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon,” he added, signing off with a heartbreak emoji.
The cancelled performances include three shows at the Colosseum Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, and one at Lake Tahoe Amphitheater at Caesar’s Republic in Stateline, Nevada.
Two additional dates at California casinos will be rescheduled rather than cancelled outright.
These latest cancellations follow the axing of his scheduled June 2 and June 5 performances at his Colosseum residency.
The veteran performer was placed on vocal rest between performances in May, adding to mounting concerns about his health.
