Helen Flanagan has reduced the asking price of her Bolton mansion by £305,000, dropping it from £1.5 million to £1,195,000 less than a month after listing the property.
The former Coronation Street actress, 34, put the six-bedroom detached home on the market in mid-May amid financial difficulties. The price reduction represents a 20 per cent decrease from the original listing.
The three-storey property spans more than 5,000 square feet on the outskirts of Bolton. Flanagan purchased the home with her former partner, footballer Scott Sinclair, for £840,000 in June 2021.
According to the property brochure, via the Daily Mail, two bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and living rooms. One room showcases designer handbags, clothes and shoes, “which really gives it the wow factor”.
Flanagan has openly discussed her financial struggles following her separation from Sinclair. In a January 2025 court appearance for a driving offence, she told magistrates she was “really struggling financially” despite earning over £1 million from her television and modelling career.
“I’m a single mum, I live in the middle of the moors,” she said during the hearing, which resulted in a six-month driving ban.
She explained her “job really is being a mum at home” and claimed she had “enough money in my account to pay off my tax and my VAT and basically that’s about it”.
The actress later added she had “enough money to pay my taxes, pay the mortgage and for a bit of tea”. She revealed she had invested “a lot of my savings” into renovating the property after moving in.
Flanagan and Sinclair separated in 2022 after 13 years together. The split has particularly affected their eldest daughter Matilda, nine, whom Flanagan described as “very sensitive and a proper daddy’s girl”.
“She struggles with not seeing Scott as often as she’d like,” Flanagan previously told The Sun. The couple also share Delilah, six, and Charlie, three.
Speaking on The Declutter Hub podcast, Flanagan admitted feeling emotional about leaving the property. “It actually makes me sad that I’m going to be leaving soon because I actually put so much effort into it,” she said.
The eight-bedroom house, which she once considered her “forever home”, also features a Harry Potter-themed playroom.

Flanagan acknowledged downsizing would be challenging, saying: “It will feel weird to downsize everything because I’m going to have to get rid of so much more because all my beautiful furniture that I bought, it’s designed for this house.”
Despite the financial pressures, Flanagan recently ended her relationship with construction worker Robbie Talbot, 45.
Friends told The Sun she sat him down last month and said “this isn’t working”, explaining they “want different things in life”.
The actress had previously asked Talbot to stay at the property as she “often gets quite scared in the house on my own and feels safer with a man there”. However, the arrangement proved difficult for her children.
Flanagan remains uncertain about her next move. She told the podcast she was considering London, which would be “amazing for work”, but acknowledged the significant price difference.
“I feel like I want like a change because, even though everything’s great now, it’s been a really kind of quite heavy few years for me,” she said.
