Sir Tom Jones appeared bewildered when he was presented with a sweet surprise from his “The Voice family”.
Jones, who turned 85 on Saturday, June 7, shared with his social media followers that he was filming for the ITV show and that it was his birthday.
Soon after, he posted to his Instagram feed a clip of The Voice host Emma Willis approaching him in his iconic coaching panel chair with a huge cake.
His fellow coaches, McFly stars Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, will.i.am and Kelly Rowland, along with Willis and the audience members, burst into song for the legendary singer.
As friends and fans sang Happy Birthday, Jones sat in his seat and glanced around the room in shock, clearly taken aback by the surprise.
After a few seconds, the Sexbomb hitmaker started to nod along with the tune and successfully blew out the candles as Willis held the chocolate cake towards him.
The crowd erupted in applause before the sweet clip ended. Jones captioned the post: “What a lovely surprise from my @thevoiceuk family today!”
Social media followers flooded the comment section with well-wishes for the octogenarian.
“So wonderful 85 yrs young, wow!” one penned, with someone else writing: “Happy 85th Sir Tom.”

The festivity comes days after it was announced that former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland would be joining Jones as a coach on The Voice.
The American singer, 44, isn’t a stranger to the show as she starred as a coach on the Australian edition of the talent show from 2017 to 2020.
Rowland replaces country singer LeAnn Rimes, who sat alongside Jones, will.i.am and the McFly stars on the panel of last year’s show.
She’s A Lady hitmaker Jones seemed to throw his support behind the replacement on Tuesday after the official Instagram account for The Voice shared the update.
Jones gave the post a like and also re-shared it to his own page. The picture showed each coach and was captioned: “Kelly… can you handle this? Meet the Coaches newest recruit when The Voice UK returns.”
