David and Victoria Beckham, as well as their youngest son Cruz, have broken their silence following the first interview from their son Brooklyn, who is rumoured to be feuding with the family.
The couple’s oldest son, Brooklyn, 26, is thought to be estranged from his famous family, with speculation that his marriage to Nicola Peltz is at the centre of their alleged feud.
After weeks of speculative headlines, the couple broke their silence on Monday as they gave a shared interview about their relationship.
The pair opened up about their love and their lives in LA, but failed to mention the current situation within the family.
While there have been a few examples of the Beckham clan taking perceived pointed digs on social media, the interview seems to have been dismissed by David and Victoria, who, along with Cruz, 20, have taken to social media since the highly-anticipated conversation was published by Glamour.
Fashion designer Victoria, 51, shared a snap on her social media of her husband, 50, cuddled up with family’s cocker spaniels.
Meanwhile, Cruz also broke his social media silence with a selection of posts on his own Instagram Story.
He also posted on his social media feed with a carousel of images, one of which was also of one of the family’s beloved dogs.
Cruz’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 29, is also understood to have posted a snap of one of the pooches resting on her partner’s knee.
The posts, which seem to be a display by the family of their refusal to acknowledge the rumoured rift and recent interview publicly, come amid reports of ongoing tensions.
Speculation began after the eldest Beckham son was notably absent from a few family gatherings in recent months.
Brooklyn has been missing from significant family celebrations, including David’s 50th birthday parties in Miami and London, and has remained silent on social media during both his parents’ milestone birthdays.
The 26-year-old recently seemed to make his position clear in a pointed Instagram post featuring a video of himself and wife Nicola Peltz riding a motorcycle.
In the caption, Brooklyn wrote: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.” (sic)
The message appeared to pledge his loyalty to Nicola amid reports she has been the source of the family fallout.
Family sources have described Brooklyn’s Instagram post as both “disappointing but unsurprising” if intended as a criticism of his family.
A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun the message seemed “very pointed” and showed “how much this situation with his family has escalated.”
The insider revealed the post was like “a dagger” in David and Victoria’s hearts, adding: “It’s very sad for everyone involved, especially David and Victoria who love him very much.”
