Kath Ebbs has been inundated with support after they returned to social media for the first time since their ex JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes finally confirmed their romance after being spotted sharing a passionate kiss at an adults-only hotel in Mexico.
The Celebrity Big Brother co-stars were photographed locking lips whilst straddling a lilo in a swimming pool, with 32-year-old Hughes smiling “from ear-to-ear” as 22-year-old Siwa straddled him on an inflatable bed in the water.
The unlikely pair first formed their close bond during their 19-day stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house last month, where viewers became convinced there was more to their friendship than they admitted.
At the time, Siwa was in a relationship with Australian social media influencer Ebbs, 27, but ended the seven-month romance shortly after leaving the show, with Ebbs claiming they were dumped at the show’s after party.
Ebbs, who identifies as non-binary, has since spoken openly about feeling abandoned, describing the breakup as “one of the hardest experiences” in their adult life.
Just hours after photos of Siwa and Hughes’ kiss emerged, Ebbs returned to social media to address her break-up once again, but stopped short of directly addressing the loved-up photos.

Ebbs shared a video of their ex and their new partner who’ve been supporting them following the split. Ebbs captioned the clip: “I love being gay sm and I love being loud about it.” (sic)
In the video, Ebbs included the phrase “Sapphic love is your ex and their new wife nursing you through a breakup” etched over the top.
Before long, fans rushed to support Ebbs in the wake of Siwa and Hughes’ kiss becoming common knowledge, with many throwing their support behind the 27-year-old.
“I love this so much for you,” one fan commented. “You deserve love and support, kindness and compassion. I can only imagine how hard this has been for you and I’m proud of how you’re showing up for yourself.”
“How ex’s should be, not the s**t you got thrown into,” a second weighed in before a third typed: “Brutal brutal but you got this and dogged a big sparkly pink bullet.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong. It’s JoJo’s fault because she didn’t have a civilized conversation with you… What she should have done is just sat down before she went on Big Brother and said, ‘I’m very sorry, I’m not happy in this relationship. I think we should break up and see other people and I hope we can still be friends’.
“That is how JoJo should have handled the situation. Instead, she broke up with you and decided to go after Chris who she didn’t even know at the time, so take all the time you need to heal. She’s in the fault and not you.” (sic)
Since leaving the Big Brother house, both Hughes and Siwa have continued to fuel romance rumours with loved-up social media posts. Last week, Hughes jetted on a 12-hour flight to Mexico to watch Siwa perform during her current tour.

The pair recently celebrated Siwa’s 22nd birthday together, with the singer posting on Instagram that her “birthday week was more magical than anything” and “a week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
During one of her performances, Siwa even changed the lyrics of “Bette Davis Eyes” to “Chris Hughes’ eyes,” causing the crowd to erupt into cheers.
The couple recently appeared on Access Hollywood alongside presenters Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover, where they struggled to define their relationship. When asked about their connection, Siwa gushed: “You kind of can’t define it, it’s very special.”
Hughes appeared visibly flustered, saying: “Yeah, I would struggle to describe it. If you want adjectives, I’d go for….. Oh…. why am I speechless? What is going on? God.”
His inability to articulate his feelings only fuelled further speculation about the depth of their bond.
During their Access Hollywood interview, Hughes confirmed that Siwa would be visiting him soon, saying: “She’s coming over to London next week, so that will be fun.”
He also hinted at plans to join her on her current tour, adding: “I’ll be there, bopping and weaving in the crowd.”
Siwa has since revealed to NBC that she cannot bear being apart from Hughes for extended periods. When asked if Hughes would be joining her on her month-long US summer tour, she replied: “I mean he will be my guest. I am sure he will pop in and out and come and say hey. We cannot be apart that long.”
