GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes and his girlfriend Katie Alexander have gone Instagram official after months of dating. The couple, who have been enjoying low-key holidays and date nights, have now shared their first public photos together on social media.
Katie, 43, a marriage counsellor, posted a reel on Instagram showcasing a recent day out with 65-year-old Eamonn.
The relationship milestone comes a year after Eamonn announced his split from wife Ruth Langsford, ending their 14-year marriage.
Set to The Levellers’ song “What a Beautiful Day”, Katie captioned the collection of Instagram photos: “Lovely weather…. Lovely company,” alongside a sun emoji.
In one photo, Katie rests her chin on Eamonn’s shoulder as they pose for the camera, both wearing sunglasses while enjoying the sunshine.
Another image shows Katie in a polka dot dress posing outdoors with her dog Dottie and Eamonn.

It didn’t take long for fans of the duo to take to the comment section of the milestone post, with several complimenting the duo on their loved-up appearance.
“Lovely to see you both looking so happy,” one follower commented before a second weighed in: “Such cute photos.”
Elsewhere, a third praised: “It’s lovely to see you so happy, Katie x.” (sic)
The relationship milestone comes amid Eamonn’s latest health woes, with the TV star suffering a fall live on air during Wednesday’s GB News broadcast.
As the camera focused on a commentator at 6:15am, a crash could be heard off-screen, with co-host Ellie Costello exclaiming: “Oh my gosh.”
After a six-minute break, Eamonn returned to screens, joking: “I’m still alive” while blaming the incident on “wonky” wheels on his chair.
“It was a shock for me because I had a fall two weeks ago in my bathroom that hospitalised me,” he explained, adding that the on-air fall “hit me right in the back.”
Heaping praise on the presenter, Britain’s Newsroom duo Andrew Pierce and Bev Turner were quick to hail the “resident stuntman” of the People’s Channel, highlighting “what a trooper” he is.
Addressing the incident at the start of their show, Bev told GB News viewers: “Now, if you weren’t watching earlier this morning, you will have missed our resident stunt man, Eamonn Holmes.
“Eamonn, as we know, struggles with his health at the moment. He has some good days, he has some bad days. Well this morning it turned out it was a bad day.”
Explaining that the GB News set has chairs “with wheels” for the hosts to easily switch between programs, Bev explained how Eamonn came to suffer the fall: “Unfortunately, we have these chairs on wheels so we can jump in and out quickly.
“We have to jump to the camera, we have to nip out to the loo sometimes, and sometimes we have 30 seconds to do that.”
Praising Eamonn’s calls for the show to “carry on” despite the accident, Andrew gushed: “Eamonn was flat out, 180 degree angle, saying ‘carry on’.
“He shouted from under the desk, he did carry on, and he got up and carried on with the show. What a trooper he is.”
Agreeing with Andrew, Bev added: “Don’t you think he’s amazing? That’s the British spirit here at GB News.”
Reflecting on the fall, Eamonn hailed Charlie Rowley as a “hero” for carrying on his commentary despite his accident: “Charlie was a hero talking on through that, because the chair gave way and I’m lying flat on my back, because it’s on wheels, with my head hanging off the set here.
“And you can see he looked, and I thought, well, just carry on, just carry on. And he carried on, and I was alright.”
