Comedian Michael McIntyre appeared visibly fuming as his luxury £195,000 Mercedes-AMG GT R was towed away in Kensington, London on Wednesday.
The 49-year-old was photographed having an animated discussion with an official wearing a yellow hi-vis jacket as his high-end vehicle was hoisted onto the back of a lorry with its wheels clamped.
Despite his typically jovial on-screen persona, the funnyman looked distinctly unimpressed during the unfortunate incident on High Street Kensington.
Pictured in the MailOnline, McIntyre was dressed smartly in a navy suit and pink shirt, sporting his signature square glasses as construction workers looked on.
The tow truck removed his expensive sports car from Derry Street, where it had reportedly been parked in a bay reserved for police cars.
According to an onlooker who spoke to The Sun, McIntyre attempted to resolve the situation on the spot.
“He was protesting and trying to pay the two tow truck operators not to take his Mercedes away but they weren’t having it,” the witness said.
The comedian reportedly offered to pay the charge immediately, but his vehicle was still removed.
“You could tell he was frustrated but kept himself calm. He was trying to see if he could go with them to the impound,” the onlooker added.
