Fred Sirieix has made his alliance with friend Gino D’Acampo clear after posting a jokey video enjoying his company as the two shared a wine despite the media storm surrounding the Italian chef over alleged “misconduct”.
First Dates host Sirieix took to Instagram on Thursday to share the clip with his followers just months after their former co-star Gordon Ramsay publicly distanced himself from D’Acampo over the reports.
D’Acampo, 48, has been embroiled in claims of “sexually inappropriate” and “distressing” behaviour spanning 12 years, with ITV recently issuing a full response earlier this year.
The response from the channel came after an ITV News investigation allegedly uncovered numerous allegations of inappropriate and intimidating behaviour by the Italian TV personality.
The TV chef, who worked with ITV for 15 years, is now under investigation following the claims, which he told ITV that he “firmly denied”, adding they were “deeply upsetting”.
It was reported later that his Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip co-star, Ramsay, 58, had distanced himself from D’Acampo.
A source at the time told MailOnline: “Gordon was horrified with what had gone on and felt it was time to step in and stop it.
“He has three daughters and a wife, Tana, who he absolutely adores and felt it was disgusting. He wanted to change those ways but then it led to difficulties between them.”

However, it seems Sirieix, 53, has decided to ignore the claims about his friend and co-star and is prepared to publicly be seen with the disgraced presenter.
The clip shared on the chef’s social media page saw the two with a glass of wine each, with Sirieix asking: “So Gino, what do you think of this wine?”
He continued: “La Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion 2010 – French,” with D’Acampo commenting: “You told me it was Italian.”
After checking the bottle, D’Acampo asked: “How many times?” to which Sirieix replied: “Is it good? Yes or no?”
“Yeah, I mean…” D’Acampo answered before a smug-looking Sirieix turned to the camera and remarked: “Thank you, Gino likes the French wine.”
“Can I just say, when I thought it was Italian, somehow it was better – but now…” D’Acampo quipped before the two clinked their glasses together.
Fans in the comments section applauded Sirieix for seemingly sticking by D’Acampo in spite of the reports.
One shared: “Nice one for supporting your mate, Fred!” with another adding: “THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! Looks like a lovely drop of wine there.”
“I’ve always loved you guys together. Stand by your man Fred,” a third penned. Another fan echoed this, adding: “Lovely to see you together. enjoy.”
“Thank you for not abandoning him. Many believe the media and automatically agree,” someone else remarked.

“Love you guys! When are you back with the blonde?” another asked. (sic)
