EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, 30, has reportedly been dumped by his girlfriend Chloe, days after he became embroiled in a “shocking” scandal with fellow former Strictly star Wynne Evans, 53.
The 30-year-old soap star, who plays Jay Brown in the BBC drama, had been in a relationship with Chloe for about a year.
The couple had kept their romance largely out of the public eye, having been photographed together only once during a dinner in London last October.
Sources close to Chloe revealed she ended their relationship after Jamie completed his stint on the Strictly live tour earlier this year.

The split comes after The Sun revealed Jamie had been reprimanded by BBC bosses for brandishing a sex toy in a video filmed backstage during the tour.
In the footage, Jamie is seen holding up the inappropriate item, explaining it was sent to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena reception by his co-star Wynne Evans.
The EastEnders actor turns the camera to show Wynne practising topless with professional dancer Neil Jones.
“Look at what he bought me. I opened it up and he surprised me with this, didn’t he? It’s so funny,” Jamie says in the clip.
A source told The Sun: “Strictly was a whirlwind for Jamie and they managed to keep it going when he was on the show. But Chloe dumped Jamie when he finished the Strictly tour. She said she felt like Jamie didn’t have time for her.
“Seeing the video of him with the sex toy and acting so weirdly made her realise it was the right choice. Jamie acts like a boy in a man’s body. She doesn’t have time for that.”
The controversial video was reportedly shared in the Strictly Come Dancing WhatsApp group, which included other celebrity contestants who did not expect nor want to be part of such a sexually suggestive exchange.
BBC executives were quick to address the situation when they became aware of the footage.
“As soon as BBC executives were made aware of this shocking and immature footage being shared they formally addressed the issue and reminded the pair they had to act professionally,” a source told The Sun.
Many cast members reportedly didn’t share the pair’s “crass sense of humour”.
Bosses were said to be “horrified and shocked” by the incident.
The incident involving the sex toy came just days after another controversy on the Strictly tour involving Evans, when the 53-year-old Go Compare opera singer was recorded making a crude remark about professional dancer and It Takes Two Janette Manrara.
Following the inappropriate remark, Evans was axed from the Strictly live tour and stepped back from his BBC Radio Wales programme.
“I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection,” he said at the time.
Following the most recent scandal, Evans broke his silence by posting on social media about mental health.
On Sunday afternoon, he shared an Instagram story of a selfie with the caption: “Hey it’s Sunday. Doing ice therapy tomorrow going to be wicked #happy #mensmentalhealth.” (sic)
