Jeremy Clarkson has taken time out from running his own farm and pub in the Cotswolds to brush away the complaints of social media trolls online.
The 64-year-old took to X, formerly Twitter, to respond directly to one person who decided to criticise the fact that former Top Gear star Clarkson owned his own farm and would often share photos from his abode.
The criticism towards the Grand Tour star stemmed from a photo he took during a particularly sunny day in Chipping Norton.
Clarkson had posted a snap of his two dogs, Arya and Sansa, soaking in the sun from the window of his Oxfordshire home.

“The sun’s out and they’re back to securing the perimeter,” Clarkson captioned the snap on Instagram to his 8.9 million followers.
A fan-run Clarkson’s Farm account then shared the image onto X, along with its own caption: “Good morning, what a view.”
While the majority of Clarkson’s Farm fans who saw the post shared their enjoyment at seeing the famously disobedient Sansa and Arya enjoying the sun, one X user opted for a more snarky response.
“A view only a few hundred million can buy you,” the troll quipped in response to the show’s fan account.
Better do some work then.

Rather than ignoring the swipe, Clarkson decided he’d break cover and address the complaint in his typical dry fashion.
“Better do some work then,” the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire presenter simply remarked.
After putting the social media user in their place, they soon replied: “Appreciate the peptalk, I feel seen.”
Clarkson bought the farm back in 2008 but only began running the day-to-day operations in 2019 after its previous farm manager retired.

Alongside local contractor Kaleb Cooper and land agent Charlie Ireland, the trio have documented Clarkson’s foray into farm management in Amazon’s record-breaking series, Clarkson’s Farm.
A fourth season of the hit show is predicted to air in May and Clarkson and co are already filming their fifth run of the series.
The fourth season will undoubtedly provide an update on the latest goings-on at Diddly Squat but will also shed light on Clarkson’s foray into pub ownership.
The former Top Gear star purchased his own pub, named The Farmer’s Dog, in Asthall, near Burford, Oxfordshire, last year.
However, it’s been far from plain sailing, with Clarkson admitting several aspects of running his own pub have been a “total disaster”.
Clarkson has bemoaned the five-figure sum he forks out monthly to keep the council “off his back”, while he’s also faced bouts of theft at the pub.
He’s branded it near-impossible to turn a profit at the Farmer’s Dog and recently slammed new government measures that threatened to narrow his margins further.
Add to the mix threats to his pub’s staff following the arrival of travellers earlier this year and it’s safe to say Clarkson has been well and truly kept busy with his latest business venture.
