Stacey Solomon was back on screens as BBC’s Sort Your Life Out continued on Tuesday, and as is usually the case, the episode showcased some emotional moments.
One gesture made by Solomon, 35, to one member of the household left fans in tears, with one “sobbing” over the presenter’s idea.
In the episode, which aired on March 11, Solomon and the team met single mother Katrina who, along with her four children, had been through a difficult few years.
While Katrina talked about being a proud mum to children Tayla, Joshua, Carter and Olivia, she was still struggling to come to terms with the trauma her family had endured.
Katrina’s oldest child Tayla, 18, explained how she had been diagnosed with cancer at only 12 years old.
She battled non-Hodgkin Burkitt’s lymphoma at the same time that Katrina was pregnant with Olivia.
“It was just horrible, just missing out on school, missing my family…” Tayla confided in Solomon before breaking down in tears.
Solomon quickly comforted the teenager, who had overcome having tumours in her throat, chest, stomach and pelvis.

Tayla also explained how she was desperate to find a cherished item from that time – a collection of “beads of courage” she’d been given for her treatments.
“So for every treatment you had, you got a bead for that treatment?” Solomon clarified.
Confirming, Tayla sadly admitted: “And I’ve lost them – I don’t know where they are.”
Later, Katrina talked about the horror of being pregnant with her youngest child while her oldest endured cancer.
“It was when Tayla was at her most poorly. She had a bad reaction to her chemo,” she tearfully explained.
“She was really ill, she was probably about six stone, and it was a time where I wasn’t sure if she’d make it and then I had to try and have a baby at the same time, so it was a lot.”
During the decluttering phase, Solomon surprised Tayla when she announced she’d managed to find the hospital beads.
A grateful Tayla broke down in tears, assuring Solomon they were due to happiness.
After decluttering, revamping and adding unique touches to the house, Solomon later shared another surprise.
She had framed the beads in Tayla’s re-decorated room, and the gesture left fans of the show “sobbing”.
“I’m a big rough tough man but I’m crying like a 3 year old girl #SortYourLifeOut,” one shared on X.
A second wrote: “What Stacey did with the beads? Sobbing. She really is an absolute gem #SortYourLifeOut.”
