Anton Ferdinand could cause a major Dancing on Ice U-turn this weekend as new data reveals he could make the top two – possibly taking home the coveted trophy.
Last weekend, Ferdinand and his partner Annette Dytrt skated to Jason Derulo’s Ridin’ Solo and, to many of ITV viewers’ surprise, made it to this weekend’s final.
They scored an impressive score of 45, which was helped by Ferdinand receiving an extra seven points for his solo challenge.
This weekend, the pair will skate to Let’s Go Crazy by Prince and the Revolution and will perform for the final time in a bid to take home the trophy.
His chances could go either way, with a spokesperson from Betfred noting: “At present, Michaela Strachan looks on course for victory, with odds of 4/7 to win this weekend.
“Although Sam Aston had levelled the playing field in recent weeks, Michaela has surged ahead, leaving Sam with odds of 11/8.

“Meanwhile, Anton Ferdinand’s chances appear more distant, with odds of 14/1. However, given that he has consistently defied expectations each week so far, he could still very well secure a place in the top two.”
If the star made it to the top two it could cause upset from many of the viewers after a fix row was sparked last week when Dan Edgar was sent home.
The footballer made repeated mistakes throughout his routine week, however, all four judges decided to send him through to the final.
One viewer wrote on social media: “Ohhh Anton messed up there.”
Another fumed: “Wooden Anton nearly falls over again after lurching around the rink like a wobbly toddler and still gets through?”
The accusations of unfairness intensified on social media, with viewers directly calling out the result as rigged.
“How can that happen with a stumble? Total fix,” one angry fan posted on X.
Another suggested there might be behind-the-scenes issues: “Methinks Dan’s upset somebody high up.”
Elsewhere, the stars and their partners were asked to write letters to know another as a goodbye and thank you for their time together.
In a clip posted on Instagram, Ferdinand read his out from Dytrt and said: “What a journey this has been, one we will never forget.
“You always said ‘I don’t want to let you down’ But you never did. This journey wouldn’t have been the same without you I will miss you and your lovley family. Love Annette.”
The star began to tear up and admitted that his “street-cred” would be ruined when he got home.
