Danny Dyer has launched into an expletive-filled rant about Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the Brit Awards, forcing ITV to censor his comments during the live broadcast.
The former EastEnders actor’s remarks were repeatedly muted as he spoke with host Jack Whitehall during last night’s ceremony.
Viewers at home were left stunned as much of Dyer’s commentary was cut from the broadcast despite being broadcast after 9pm.
Before launching into politics, the 47-year-old first sparked outrage when talking about his new film which he described as “basically Bridget Jones, but with the word c**t”.

The comment left host Jack Whitehall, who had waded into the audience to speak with Dyer, scrambling to recover.
“Danny, like when I said say anything, not bad words, obviously. It’s ITV,” he quipped.
Evidently, Whitehall could not resist risking a journey back into dangerous territory after praising Dyer for his long-holds-barred honesty.
“If we were giving out the Brit award for your T**t of the year, who would win the Danny Dyer bell**d award?” the host asked.
Without a moments hesitation, the 47-year-old began: “So many. This is why the world is being run by cranks at the moment,”
“So Probably Sir Keir Starmer,” he declared to a mix of gasps, jeers and laughs from the crowd.
“Ok! Let’s not turn this into a riot! Let’s go to a break,” a shocked Whitehall panicked.
The expletive-laden segment was quickly edited down but not before viewers could take to social media to share their views.
Some fans heralded the Dyer as a “living legend” and “national treasure” on X following the explosive moment.“
“Love a good old Danny Dyer rant at the establishment,” another wrote.
A third declared the moment was the: “Highlight of the day. Thank you Danny Dyer.”
Others called out ITV for censoring the rant.
“Actually what’s the point in talking to Danny Dyer if you’re just going to mute the entire thing,” one questioned.
Another seethed: “Can’t even have Danny Dyer swear on telly after 9pm. We used to be a country!”
However, some viewers were unimpressed – blasting Dyer for his “wrong and horrible” conduct.
“Danny Dyer is getting applauded for insulting our PM… for no other reason DD is the one that said it. Had it been someone less popular, the narrative would be so different,” another observed.
