BBC Dragons’ Den viewers shared their disappointment and frustration with the series as they slammed all the “sob stories” which continue to be featured on the show.
During tonight’s episode, a Hampshire-based woman hoped her hair towels wouldn’t leave her hanging by a thread and impress the Dragons.
A married couple entered the den to show off their eco-conscious soap dispenser innovation, something which they had taken years to perfect.
Business partners from London sought out a cash injection for their anaphylaxis kits, highlighting the importance of being aware of people’s allergies.
Elsewhere, a Bristol entrepreneur hoped to find backing for her inclusive make-up range.
Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett were tempted by most of the proposals.

However, many fans were left unsure over the recent substance of the episodes and wished it would go back to the “old days” when not all pitches were as serious.
Taking to X, one frustrated viewer asked: “Since when did the dragons on #dragonsden become so soft??”
Another agreed: “#DragonsDen is awful these days. All about sob stories, political correctness and saving the world rather than true innovative business ideas.”
A third added: “What happened to #dragonsden? It’s become more about the sob story than the actual product!”
Someone else noted: “This show has been infected by the liberal b******t. It’s called Dragons Den, not the f****s cave. These should be coming out crying and not for the right reasons.”
A fourth annoyed fan said: “Why is every investment born from a sob story? Where’s the cutthroat of business deals like it used to be? It’s s**t #DragonsDen.”
“After years of enjoying #dragonsden I think it’s time to move on… too much virtue signalling and too many sob stories. Bring back Duncan!” a fifth quipped.
Annoyed, another viewer penned: “ Jesus f***ing wept. This show’s gone so far down the snowflake route there’s no way back now. Virtually unwatchable #dragonsden.” (sic)
The slamming of the show comes just one week after Dragon Souleyman was slammed for making an “arrogant” comment to one guest.
After listening to Davies’ offer, Souleyman interjected and said: “I was thinking higher than that, you have got a great offer because I know what I can bring to the party.
“Which brings me to, do you want a mini or a Ferrari?” leaving the fellow Dragons to gasp at his comment.
Steven Bartlett defended: “A mini? You are calling Sara Davies a mini?” before the star quickly apologised for his use of analogy.
