Davina McCall has left ITV The Masked Singer viewers divided over her choice of outfit for the show’s tense grand finale on Saturday.
For this weekend’s show, the 57-year-old presenter sat on the show’s judging panel alongside Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama and former champion Danny Jones.
West End star Samantha Barks was crowned the winner after being unmasked as Pufferfish in the nail-biting showdown.
The 34-year-old theatre actress triumphed over Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter, who was revealed as Dressed Crab, and Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow, unmasked as Wolf.
Despite McCall correctly guessing Pufferfish’s true identity, some viewers were distracted by the judge’s choice of outfit during proceedings.
The presenter wore a black halterneck jumpsuit with a plunging neckline adorned with a black and white rose motif on her chest.
“Wtaf is Davina wearing on #maskedsingeruk? Talk about a state and a half. No class just crass. Shame,” one viewer savaged on X.
Rushing to McCall’s defence, another fan responded: “Rather, shame on you. Not exactly classy of you to degrade another woman for what she’s chosen to wear.
“BTW @ThisisDavina you looked beautiful,” they added.
Elsewhere on social media, viewers were keen to know more about the star’s outfit.
One asked enthusiastically: “Where is Davina’s dress from?! Stunning!”
“I came here to find this out too!!” another responded.
They agreed: “I need that dress!”
The majority of fan reaction was centred on who deserved to be crowned champion – with some who felt Porter should have won the 2025 competition.
“How the hell did Gregory Porter, easily the best singer that’s ever graced the show not win. What are the audience basing this on? #maskedsingeruk,” one viewer questioned on X.

Another fumed: “I’m beyond p****d that Gregory porter didn’t win WTAF AS IF.. THE BEST SINGER ALL SERIES!!!! absolute joke #maskedsingeruk.”
However, others were overjoyed for Barks and expressed their joy at the show’s conclusion.
One fan wrote: “SUPERB! Congrats to Samantha – amazing voice, and singing an iconic song from #Dreamgirls – you had me in tears!”
“What an amazing final – very well deserved #samanthaBarks (I have to admit to not knowing this amazing person until this show). Stunning talent,” another enthused.
