Davina McCall made a surprised appearance just days after sharing the news she’d be undergoing surgery for a brain tumour.
The TV personality shared a frightening health update earlier this month when she revealed she had a benign brain tumour which was going to be operated on.
Posting on her Instagram account last week, the former Big Brother presenter explained in a video with her partner Michael Douglas: “Hi, so when I’m posting this it will be Friday morning.
“I’m posting it because a few months ago I did a menopause talk for a company and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare.
“Three in a million! So I slightly put my head in the sand for a while, and then I saw quite a few neurosurgeons, I got lots of opinions.
“I realised that I have to get it taken out. It’s big for the space – it fills the space. It’s 14mm wide. And it needs to come out because if it grows it would be bad.”
“Just letting people know that I will have my eye on her throughout this procedure!” Douglas vowed.
The 48-year-old, who has been with McCall, 57, since 2019, joked: “In fact I offered to do the operation, just to make sure it was done properly! They wouldn’t let me. She’s in very good hands.”
Thankfully, his updates prior have confirmed McCall’s surgery went well and that she had been recovering.
As the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here buzz commences online a week on from the series debut of the ITV favourite, hosts Ant and Dec have been hosting frequent Instagram Lives based around the show.
On Saturday night, the duo were joined by the TV star, who sent the Geordie hosts as well as followers a message.
“Hey everyone! Still here,” she penned alongside a laughing emoji, with her post leading to celebrations in the studio, The Mirror reports.
“Hey, Davina McCall is here everybody!” Donnelly exclaimed, while McPartlin commented: “Hope you are feeling well… Sending you lots of love from the jungle.”
People working behind the scenes could be heard shouting: “We love you, Davina!” as they celebrated the famous face’s appearance.
The presenter didn’t stick around for long though, adding soon after: “I’m gonna sign off now.”
Her sudden departure prompted McPartlin to joke: “We were too much for her, we were too loud.”

In the latest update from her partner, Douglas revealed to fans on Tuesday: “Mega progress these last 24 hours. Massive relief to see some light breaking through.
“Thanks for all the good vibes coming in from all angles, up and up. Thanks so much to all the wellwishers. She really has made an enormous leap forward in the last 24 hours. She is out of ICU.”

She urged fans not to “worry” about her and explained Douglas would be on-hand for updates.
