The National Television Awards returned to ITV on Wednesday, with the glitzy ceremony honouring television from across the entertainment realm.
However, just minutes into the live show, viewers were left fuming as they complained Clarkson’s Farm had been “robbed”.
The hit Amazon Prime show starring Jeremy Clarkson, 64 and Kaleb Cooper, 26, has seen huge success since it launched in 2021.
With series four being filmed, it doesn’t seem like the show’s popularity is dying down, and with Cooper representing the show at the National Television Awards audience, fans were rooting for him to take to the stage to pick up the Factual Entertainment award.
The nominations included the farming show, Gogglebox, Martin Lewis Money Show Live, Sort Your Life Out and The Yorkshire Vet.
However, the award, presented by comedian Graham Norton, ended up going to Stacey Solomon’s decluttering Sort Your Life Out.

Cooper graciously applauded Solomon on the win, with Gogglebox stars and Martin also seen clapping for the presenter.
While a delighted Solomon, 34, jumped about in celebration, viewers were less than thrilled by the result.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans complained Clarkson’s docuseries had been “robbed”, with one writing: “I’m sorry but how the hell did Clarkson’s farm loose!!!!#NTAs.”
“What? Clarkson’s Farm was robbed #NTAs,” a second fumed.
“Didn’t predict that. Was willing Clarkson’s Farm to win. #NTAs,” a fourth stated.
“Clarkson’s Farm absolutely robbed #NTAs,” another agreed.
Someone else shared: “Clarkson’s farm has to win this one. #NTAs.”
“How did Clarksons Farm not win that award? That shows fantastic #NTAs.”
However, others were pleased by the win for the Loose Women presenter, with another posting: “#NTAs @StaceySolomon @_mrcarrington CONGRATULATIONS On Sort Your Life Out.”
