Reuben Owen has returned to social media for the first time since his mum Amanda Owen confirmed she’d split from her boyfriend, Rob Davies.
Amanda and Davies’s relationship came under intense scrutiny after they went public following the breakdown of her marriage with husband Clive.
Clive and Amanda, who share nine children, went their separate ways following the success of the Channel 5 series, with Clive since admitting he was “jealous” of his spouse’s success.
The pair have also cited their age gap as a possible factor in their split and struggles to handle newfound fame sparked by the series – there are 21 years between the two.
Following arguments at home, both Amanda and Clive began seeing other people but the pair have been candid in admitting that the Yorkshire Shepherdess’s romance with Davies garnered much more public scrutiny.
“The impact of my and Rob’s relationship was far-reaching for everyone involved,” Amanda recently penned in the Daily Mail. “Rob and I were both shattered by the way the media pursued us and reported it, and as a result Rob and I are no longer together or in touch.”
And there aren’t any new men on the scene for Amanda either, as she also told The Sun this week: “It’s just me and my horse now. I’m done, thank you very much.
“I need to regain my trust in humanity. I also refuse to be drawn into talking about Rob, because he’s a good guy and it’s not my place to speak for other people or point the finger.
“Clive and I chose to go into this reality TV world but others did not.”
Amanda’s candid account of her love life since the end of Our Yorkshire Farm has inevitably hit headlines as the family gears up to return to screens on More4’s Our Farm Next Door.

And following his parents’ open and honest accounts with the press, eldest son Reuben has decided to break cover on social media.
However, he stopped short of addressing his parents’ split or their admissions about new relationships as he instead shifted focus onto his work projects of late.
On TikTok, Reuben shared a video montage of some of the digging he’s been busy doing in the Lake District recently.
The young farmer avoided mentioning his parents’ latest revelations as he simply penned in the caption: “Bit of digging from last week #plant #diggers #rocks #veiws #fy.”
Fans quickly rushed to wish Reuben well, including one fan who penned: “Well done Rueben all the best mate.
“Living the best life,” a second added followed by a thumbs-up emoji and a third weighed in: “Goeann lads n lassies.” (sic)

Reuben wasn’t the only member of the Owen clan to make a return to social media amid his parents’ interviews either.
Eldest daughter Raven also made a rare appearance on Instagram over this past weekend for the first time in weeks.
However, much like her brother, she decided to steer clear of addressing her parents’ split confession publicly.
Instead, she posted a snap from the Italian city of Pisa.
